Time Limits

Review applications

Many review applications allow you 28 days after a decision maker has made a decision, to apply to the SAT for a review. However, where an enabling Act imposes a different time limit, this is the one that applies. Use the SAT Wizard to check the time limit that applies to your application. If your application is outside this time limit, you can still lodge an application and request the issue of being out of time be dealt with before the application proceeds.

On lodgement of your application it will be necessary to pay the appropriate fee. If the Tribunal does not accept the application the fees will be refunded.

Original applications

Many original applications to the SAT do not have time limits. However, some do, so use the SAT Wizard to check the time limit that applies.
