Regulations, Rules & Practice Notes

The following rules, regulations and practice notes govern the operations of the SAT.

Regulations are tabled in Parliament and govern special matters prescribed under the SAT Act or enabling Acts. For example, fees and charges.

State Administrative Tribunal Regulations 2004.

Rules are made under the SAT Act and specify some of the procedures that must be followed when making applications to the SAT and the steps a party needs to take in a directions hearing. Most of the directions the SAT will make are set out in the practice notes below.
